Recoil Springs
The Para-Ordnance P14 & P16 use the same recoil spring as the Colt 1911 series. The P14 has a factory rating of 16 pounds. The P16 has a factory rating of 20 pounds. Please see Colt 1911 Series
Hammer Springs
The Para-Ordnance P14 & P16 use the same hammer springs as the Colt 1911 series. Factory rating in the P14/P16 is 23 pounds. Please see Colt 1911 Series.
Internal Springs
The Para-Ordnance P14 & P16 firing pin, plunger tube, and magazine catch springs are the same as the Colt 1911. Please see Colt 1911 Series.
