Recoil spring sets are available with load-rated specifications to tailor the recoil function to individual needs. The inner and outer recoil springs replace the factory springs using the factory recoil guide and plug.  Springs are changed by removing and replaceing the "C" clip on the front of the factory assembly.  An extra power firing pin spring is also included

With the exception of recoil and hammer springs, all other springs offered by W.C. Wolff Company for use in 1911 and Commander series pistols (magazine catch, firing pin, sear, plunger tube, and safety block) are the same for the Defender .45ACP pistol.
