Recoil Springs for the Double Eagle MKII/Series 90 pistol are the same recoil springs used in the 1911 series pistols. The firing poin spring is different between the two series pistols.

    Reduced Power...: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15 Lb.
    Factory Standard.: 16 Lb.
    Extra Power........: 17, 18.5, 20, 22, 23, 24, & 26 Lb.

Variable Power Recoil Springs
    Reduced Power...: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15 Lb.
    Factory Standard.: 16.5 Lb.
    Extra Power........: 17.5, 18.5, 20, & 22 Lb.

 

Hammer springs for Colt Double Eagle series are available in a variety of weights to allow adjustment of the trigger/let-off to individual needs. Hammer spring paks are recommended when exact poundage desired is unknown and offer a savings over individually purchased springs.
