Recoil Springs are available with load-rated specifications to tailor the recoil function to individual needs. Each load-rated recoil spring pak includes an extra power firing pin spring.

Plastic Hammer Spring Base- For Models P-220 thru P-229.

Recently SigArms has started using a plastic hammer spring base/retainer with a short hammer spring.  This is being phased in across all models.  If your pistol has the plastic base/retainer for the hammer spring the following springs are for your pistol.

• Reduced Power...: 17, 18, & 19 Lb.
• Factory Standard.: 21 Lb
• Extra Power........: None Available

Hammer Spring Pak - This pak contains 1 each of 18, 19 and 20 pound reduced power hammer springs described above. For use in P220 with serial numbers below 219166. (Stock No. 26574)

Hammer Spring Pak - This pak contains 1 each of 16, 17, 18 and 19 pound reduced power hammer springs above, allowing adjustment of the firearm to individual requirements.For use in P220 with serial numbers above 219166. (Stock No. 26575)

Magazine Springs are available in +5% and +10% extra power allowing a choice of springs for optimum magazine performance.

*Note: In newer P220's using the green recoil spring, the Wolff +10% magazine spring is factory standard and the +5% would be reduced power.
*Note: Wolff magazine springs will not fit new 8 round P220 magazines made by Mec-Gar .
