Recoil springs are available in a variety of load ratings to allow adjustment of the recoil function to meet various requirements. All load-rated recoil springs include an extra power firing pin spring. Recoil Calibration paks listed below recoil springs when available.

Reduced power trigger return spring pak (draw bar plunger spring) offers 3 different springs to help improve double-action trigger performance in all Smith & Wesson centerfire semiautomatics in 9mm, 10mm, .45 ACP and .40 S&W calibers. Pak contains 1 each of 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 pound reduced power trigger return springs to allow varying adjustment of the trigger. The factory spring is 4 pounds. These springs are particularly beneficial when used in conjunction with reduced power hammer springs listed above.

Reduced Power
Pak contains 5 reduced power magazine catch springs for all Smith & Wesson centerfire caliber semiautomatic pistols. Springs are approximately 20% lighter than factory. For competition use. (Stock No. 27185) 


Extra Power
Pak contains 5 extra power magazine catch springs for all Smith & Wesson centerfire caliber semiautomatic pistols. Springs are approximately 20% heavier than factory. These springs are particularly helpful in preventing accidental magazine release in left-handed holsters. (Stock No. 27186)

TYPE I - For Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistols contains the following springs to replace weakened or broken springs, returning the pistol to original factory condition: recoil spring, extra power firing pin spring, hammer spring, extractor spring, 2 ejector springs, magazine catch spring, drawbar plunger spring, safety lever plunger spring, slide lock plunger spring, safety lever detent spring and rear sight body plunger spring.
